Nintendo's Integrated Marketing Communications

Hello Everyone!

Today, I will be talking about Nintendo's Integrated Marketing Communications. Integrated Marketing Communications is defined as ensuring that all forms of communications and messages are carefully linked together. Integrated Marketing Communications means integrating all the promotional tools, so that they work together in harmony. I will also be talking about vehicles, unique selling proposition, mobile marketing, point of purchase displays, and feedback.

Marketing Vehicles are tools that Nintendo (and any other company) uses many different vehicles to promote new products that are coming out. Nintendo used many vehicles such as social media, television ads, and email. They also had promoted their product verbally to panels that they hold to show what new stuff is coming.

The unique selling proposition is known as campaigns that make a unique proposition that convinces customers to switch to their brand. Nintendo has gone no place and video game developer has gone. The unique selling proposition of the Switch is the game controllers can come off and switch onto a controller like hand held and the remotes can be used on their own. That is a whole new dynamic to video games.

Mobile Marketing is a multi-channel, digital marketing strategy aimed at reaching a target audience on their smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices via websites, email, social media, and apps. Nintendo is a big user of mobile marketing just like most companies. If you are set up for Nintendo's email notifications you will receive promotions, new products, and deals. On social media if you follow their page they will definitely have a lot of good things they post about.

Point of purchase displays are the displays at the check-out that draw people in to buy more things. In retail stores everywhere, they have point of purchase displays at the end of the aisles to entice people to buy something else they might not have intended in getting. All retail stores do this and thats their way of making a little bit of extra money.

Feedback is important to any company that wants to stay afloat in this "dog eat, dog world." Feedback is defined as information about reactions to a product, used as a basis for improvement. Any company accepts feedback, whether it be positive or negative. Nintendo has many support forums where people can go and ask questions.
